Through various multidimensional media NbN (Nora Barton, Billie Howard, Nomi Epstein) introduces work that elicits a quiet energy.
NbN’s evening length performance will showcase its sonic investigations made through improvisation sessions at HCL using its main instrumental force (violin, cello, and the inside of the piano) as well as a barrage of percussion instruments and found sounds. Taking place throughout the HCL space, the AMBEDO project incorporates original film, projection, and light design into the performance realm.. NbN will also share its recent collaboration with Chicago-based choreographer Molly Jaeger.
