ABOUT ABOUT

At a time when material is becoming increasingly oppositional, Hassan Nasrallah: Divine Victory is a video installation that investigates the construction and destruction of material within the political sphere- larger, systematic force of the political imaginary, embodied in this work by the voice of Hassan Nasrallah and his infamous ‘Divine Victory’ speech.

Join us for brunch and conversation. Hiba will share a clip of the work in progress accompanied by a short prologue which will open up into a discussion of the work.

Hiba Farhat is an artist and filmmaker from Lebanon. She is currently a Fulbright Scholar in the MFA program in Film, Video, New Media and Animation, as well as a Merit Scholarship Candidate in Visual Critical Studies, at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
